THE LOAD PLATE, THE ACCESSORY FOR A HAPPY IRON HORSE OWNER

A little tip for those of you who often use the winch to load coarser timber.

Have you ever stood by your iron horse and winched in a large log, you have avoided both the stump and the stone on the way to the machine, but just as the log is about to be lifted onto the timber bank, the log gets stuck against the platform or belt?
That's why we developed the "Load Plate" accessory.

This has at least happened for the undersigned, most recently during the winter when I with my Iron Horse Flex, was going to pick up some bark drill trees and would puff out these at any time.

The load plate consists of a bent structure that is attached directly to the timber bank, which means that when the tool mount is moved to the rear position, the plate is angled down like a ramp behind the machine and causes the log to slide up onto the log bank without getting stuck towards the rear edge of the platform.
After the completion of the wintering of several logs, the timber bank is driven forward via the hydraulics, and the load plate slides up onto the platform during the load itself.

Tip: Lock the log bank with the supplied locking bolt so that it does not rotate when the log hits the plate!
