Logistics and supply
The Iron Horse offers a robust solution for off-road logistics where wheeled vehicles have limited access.
It can involve transporting ammunition, fuel, tools, field rations or medical supplies from the transshipment point to the unit site - quickly, safely and unaffected by ground conditions.
The platform's high load capacity and customizable loading area make it ideal for supporting both temporary and continuous supply flows.
Support for field operations
During operations in sparsely populated areas, forests, mountains or training fields, the Iron Horse can serve as a mobile hub for various types of field support.
It can carry repair technology, battery charging systems, quick service tools or even temporary protection solutions.
Its all-terrain capability means that personnel do not have to carry heavy equipment over long distances, reducing strain and increasing efficiency in the field.
Sensor and technology platform
The iron horse is ideal for carrying surveillance systems, temporary sensors, communication equipment or radar-related technology.
It can be rapidly positioned in vulnerable or strategically important areas, for example along temporary border zones or in the context of protecting training areas.
Its low noise profile and maneuverability allow it to operate discreetly in sensitive environments.
Rescue and evacuation, "CASEVAC"
In the event of accidents, exercises or live events in difficult terrain, the Iron Horse can be used to quickly move rescue equipment, fuel, stretchers or medical personnel.
It also serves as an evacuation platform for injured personnel when other vehicles cannot reach them. This makes it particularly relevant in the collaboration between the Armed Forces, the Home Guard and other blue light actors in the event of a crisis or heightened alert.
Flexible adaptation for different missions
The Iron Horse design allows easy modification depending on the nature of the mission. The platform can be equipped with a winch, crane, trailer or special modules for communication, workshop or energy supply.
It is equally suited to tactical needs as well as longer endurance missions, and can act both solo or in concert with other platforms.
It is a tool that grows with the task.
UNIQUE LOAD SWITCH
With its unique load-swapping function, the Järnhästen Ranger can quickly load, transport, and unload everything from equipment and supplies to specialized modules. The function is remote-controlled, which means that load swapping can take place without the operator needing to be near the vehicle, thereby increasing safety during heavy or high-risk lifts.
The flexible load changer makes it possible to quickly switch between different load carriers depending on the assignment, and to load or unload cargo even in terrain where traditional handling would otherwise be difficult or time-consuming. The result is a platform that not only transports cargo—but also actively streamlines the entire logistics chain in the field.

The Iron Horse Ranger is basically a variant of the Essence model adapted for civil and military defense,
The large cargo platform makes it ideal as an equipment carrier.
The remote control allows safe operation of all functions without physical proximity to the machine. The robust chassis design, in conjunction with the hydraulics, allows the upper part to be offset in relation to the track frame, thereby optimizing the center of gravity. The result is superior off-road performance and high maneuverability in varied environments

Our Supervised Autonomy platform enables the UGV to operate independently even when communication is lost. The operator sets the destination—the system handles navigation, obstacle avoidance, and route planning through remote control, leader-follower mode, learn & replay, obstacle recognition, and waypoint navigation. Minimal workload for the operator, maximum capability in the field.
