In recent months, Lennartsfors AB's representatives have been out at several fairs. Here are a few highlights from these.
Norway - Dyrskun Dick Henriksson
Dick Henriksson, sales manager for the Nordic region at Lennartsfors AB, has been in Norway together with our dealer Antonsen Timber at the Dyrskun Fair in Norway, which turned out to be a great success with 5 sold IronHorses in just three days.
Dyrskun attracts over 90,000 visitors from all over Norway for three intense days in September each year, who come to bargain and experience this popular festival with around 800 exhibitors. The staggering turnover of around NOK 500 million shows that a lot of goods are traded during these days.
A sign of how satisfied one of our customers at the fair was with her new IronHorse purchase, she showed by naming her new Flex2 after Dick himself. See picture below.
APF Exhibition, Ragley Estate, Warwickshire England
Tommy Olsson, export manager at Lennartsfors AB, visited the APF Fair in September at Ragley Estate, Warwickshire in England, which is the largest forestry fair in the whole of the UK with approx. 320 exhibitors and 23,000 visitors. We supported our UK distributor, DJB Machinery and had the opportunity to deepen our ties and cooperation. Their very knowledgeable and dedicated staff made a very good impression that the Iron Horse is in very capable and good hands overthere.
DJB Machinery is one of the largest importers of arborist, firewood and forestry machinery in the UK and aims to provide a wide range of machinery to cover all needs in these areas. DJB Machinery is strategically based in several locations around the UK and can therefore supply machines to the whole of the UK.
The UK with its shifting landscapes does not resemble the traditional forestry we find back home in Scandinavia, but there is nonetheless a rooted interest in the Iron Horse there. Especially among arborists, there seems to be a great interest in small and handy machines that are gentle on the soil and easy to use in sensitive and confined spaces.
