The combined capabilities of an Iron Horse Flex or Flex 2 together with our self-unloading timber trailer are a smart combination for heavy duty forestry work, whether it's firewood processing and thinning, or dealing with windthrow or bark beetle infested trees.
The self-discharging trailer is fully developed for use with the Iron Horse and provides maximum pressure on the machine for optimal traction. You also get a unique solution where the rear bench can be released with a pin, allowing the trailer to split in half. The wood then remains on the ground when the machine moves forward again.
We also offer you the loading crane for free!
The loading crane makes wood handling much easier. You can use the winch cable of the engine winch to load the timber trailer or load directly onto the Iron Horse.

An accessory that can be used together with the self-unloading wagon is the loading crane 5013999-01.
This is an accessory that is integrated in the winch and makes loading the trailer much easier.
Both the Flex and Flex 2 have the more modern tracks and a removable tool holder. The Flex 2, however, is a further development thatbrings a lot of small improvements, especially in terms of service and maintenance .The really big difference is the radio-controlled motorized cable winch. If you use the machine frequently for winching, you will appreciate the easy release function and the remote control saves you many extra steps.
If you already own an Iron Horse, you can of course buy the wooden trailer separately (which fits both the Classic and Flex models). Unfortunately we can no longer offer you such a good price as in the package. But please contact your dealer for a discussion.
